What is HHC Distillate?
HHC distillate is a liquid extract of the HHC cannabinoid which can be used to make various products. Although it does occur naturally in the hemp and cannabis plants, HHC is present in such small amounts that the best method of concentrating the cannabinoid is by synthesizing it using hemp-derived CBD.
What Is a Distillate?
Distillates are a highly pure concentration of a certain cannabinoid in liquid form. The potent liquid is created through the process of distillation, which uses evaporation and condensation to separate a desired cannabinoid from any other compounds.
A liquid containing these compounds is heated to certain temperatures to evaporate the undesired compounds, leaving the desired cannabinoid in its purest form.
What Is HHC?
HHC, or hexahydrocannabinol, is a psychoactive cannabinoid found in trace amounts in the hemp and cannabis plants. It was first discovered in the 1940s, but it was not until recently that the cannabinoid began to gain popularity as a psychoactive and potentially therapeutic chemical compound akin to THC.
Because of its more recent popularity, HHC is not as widely known as other cannabinoids. However, it is believed that it offers similar effects to THC but is perhaps slightly less potent.
